there is SO much about this that confuses me. you let all that casting wax just fall to the floor instead of in a clean pot or something where it could be reclaimed? why did you spend so much time carving out the center of the ring when you could have used the jeweler's saw to cut away like... the first three inches of it? why do you have vacuum casting flasks if you are just going to pour the mold in the open? building a kiln from scratch is pretty wild. WOAH WHY DID YOU CAST ON CONCRETE!? that's so dangerous. look at that metal splatter. cast over a sand pit!
